Trusting Cougar Elk Reciprocity

This drawing in the series is about teaching me the cycle of reciprocity - the giving and receiving. There is no better example than the predator prey relationship.

The big eyes at the top are the cougar eyes. The White Elk already exists inside the predator even before she kills and eats the Elk. It is the ultimate gift giving of the Elk to make sure Mama can feed the next generation of Cougar.

It is about the ways we give and receive with one another. This year I have learned if someone rejects receiving they are not allowing the full cycle of reciprocity. It is an interuption, a moment where the loop is incomplete in the web of life. To drink fully of what is being offered in a good way, and be changed by what you have received. Then we are ready to give again from a greater place.
