Drawing Family Together

A poweful sense of belonging happens when each person’s way is honored.  Each person in this drawing their own medicine way. 

  I had an extraordinary experience while I was doing a Craniosacral Session where I literally went unconscious to this realm and was in a place of the waterfall of the universe. It was an extraordinary experience of a softer multidimensional realm. That was my first time shapeshifting on that level and the reentry was really rough on my physical body, but I recoved and am all the better for it.  When I came home I finished drawing the purple space between the woman’s wing and her walking stick.  It was the last color pencil area to finish the drawing.  I took a break and when I came back and looked at it I realized I had gone through that portal into the Universal Waterfall.  I left this physical form and became the small upward spiral meeting the three spirals coming down.  I had already drawn the waterfall part over a week before.  Realizing I had drawn my shapeshifting experience many days before gave me chills up and down my spine.  I am more fully coming to understand what Medicine Art means through each drawing and experience where I am deeply changed by what I am shown to draw. 

The man draws on the steady rooted nature of the tree as his way of moving in the upper, middle and lower worlds.  Their union births this girl child as a gift from the Great Mystery.
