Upcoming Performance and Ceremony of Being Art as Medicine on December 6, 2008

Saturday night 7:00 to 9:30 at the Heart of Wellness, Heart Room, a beautiful room with excellent acoustics and a big white wall to display the art slides.  We are going to have a great time!  I am looking forward to sharing the latest art of ‘Whales Calling Song” and stories of creation of this series.  See the Art Performance Page to get the whole picture of what the night will be like.  Questions call 352-4177.

$10 tickets in advance available at the reception desk at Heart of Wellness with Angela or Beth (hours are generally 9-5:50 with lunch from 1-2 when the door is locked.  Monday she comes in a 1:00 and Friday she leaves at 1:00.   

$15 at the door if there are tickets left (there is space for about 35 people)

$ 5 for Children are welcome if you feel they will be able to be reasonable quiet to not disturb the singing.  The slide show has succeeded in being engaging for kids, and it has been fun to have children in the singing circle. 

Directions:   205 Clark Place SE, Tumwater, coming from downtown Olympia, go on Capital heading toward Tumwater, at the intersection of Capital and Custer (Baskin Robbins is on your left) you will see Clark Place St as the fifth road at the intersection to the left heading into the neighborhood.  Heart of Wellness is on the right with its own parking area.   

Bring your heart ready to be fed and opened wide, and your check book because art prints will be available after the performance :}  There may be an image of an animal that really moves you, and people have found it powerful to make that animal part of their life and home.  I draw these images with the prayer that they may benefit people I have not yet met…..maybe that is you.  I look forward meeting you.
